Thanks guys.
So, do you think it would make any sense to get my license if i don't intend on purchasing firearms in the near future? If I can't get my hands on a firearm to use.. then what's there's no reason to go through the whole process now, correct?
Thanks guys.

Do clubs usually have guns you can rent/borrow while you're there to shoot if you only have a membership but don't own any guns yourself?

Since you live in Brampton, your not to far from Target Sports ( 404 & stouffville rd ) They have familiarization shoots for unlicensed people and range guns available to their club ( The Grange ) members.
If your interested in trying the sport before getting a PAL, its a $40 fee plus ammo/gun ( ie $25 = 50 rounds on a 9mm with gun ) and this will get you a range officer and a lane to shoot in. However, its advised you call in and book a time as there crazy busy and can't accept walk-in's ( this is generally what the staff tell me when im there )
Hope this helps !
You are looking to pay around the $500+ mark for a range around the GTA. Drive a little out of town (Kitchener, Elmira, Etc.) and it gets around $180 mark. The ranges outside of the city are nowhere near as busy either.... plus you can actually shoot outside for rifles, shoot skeet, archery ranges, etc. I guess being in Brampton you may want to look into clubs in KW.
