So I purchased my first Block back in May and immediately sent it out for some custom work. It's long story but after a frustratingly long wait for something that was quoted as 4 weeks turn around I eventually found out the process wasn't even started. I proceeded to ask for my Glock to be sent back to me immediately even if it was in pieces. So part of the service that was suppose to be done was some TiN coating on the factory barrel. When I had asked for my property back they said the barrel was out for coating so I had them send everything back to me but the barrel. I'm trying to remember if a factory Glock barrel has a serial number on it? The reason I ask is that my 17 was returned with the wrong trigger spring (a NY1 spring) which has led me to realize that I got a random trigger assembly, so basically not my original parts. I upgraded the trigger so i wasn't too concerned but with the barrel I am really concerned that I will not get my original barrel back. Now i'm at almost 18 weeks wait for my barrel which is beyond ridiculous
Is there any way to confirm that if I get a barrel back that it's mine?
What would you do?
I'm going to try to contact them again tomorrow and when i have more time I will write about the whole situation.
