Do they make this type of SKS scope mount?

I was looking around here at the different types of scope mounts that are out the for the SKS, but I am not finding exactly waht I want.

I would like to mount a red dot (little Dr Optic) on the action cover, but I do not want the see through raised option; I want it mounted on a piece of Picatinny or waver rail directly on the action cover. That being said, I do not want to drill and tap the action cover on it to mount a rail; I would much prefer to buy an action cover like this already. Doies anyone know of a manufacturer that makes this? I thought of buying a generic scope cover and mounting the rail myslef, but the nice thing about the scope mount covers are that they are made to be ground down for a tight fit that I may not get with a generic surplus cover.

There are rear cover's out there that have this:

But in my mind they are not worth it as the SkS rifle with a red dot the best mount I have used to date (& trust me I have tried them ALL) is this 1;

All you have to do is just raise the rifle and Bam it's right there. Just waiting for a TAPCO stock to come in as I am loving it so much.

Do casings clear that set up everytime? Sometimes my casings spit up and 12oclock out front.
If you are worried about spent casings hitting your optic,check out the following thread post 60 http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=439418
This mod is tried and proven by myself and others.

Wondering this as well but that setup looks ideal. And if you don't mind, type of mount and where purchased? Looks like the BC Tactical one.

There are two very good scout mounts out there B.C. tactical and one made by ScoutScopes which is sold by Marstar in Canada. The ScopeScopes mount is more pricey but in my opinion has more options like iron sight incorporated into the mount when you remove the rail ect ect.

Did you order one of the Timbersmith stocks from Tapco? The Monte Carlo Timbersmith stock I ordered came all banged up and had to sent it back.
Nope I ordered the 1 with the ar style butt stock 1 just like you slap on all your rifles. It's the T6 with blade cut out. Except it's going to be a Marstar Chinese SkS ;)
Sort of looks like this guy;

I know what you are talking about, I thought about the same thing. I mocked up a receiver cover with a 4" rail placed directly on top of the cover and was going to weld or braze it into place. I find that those scope mounts sit to high for my liking. But I never did get around to it because of the following. Once you have the front tangs ground down and test fitted it, place the receiver cover on to the rifle WITHOUT the recoil spring. You will see that the cover will still move around on you even though it was nice and tight with teh spring in it. This is what throws off your zero every time, that and when you take off the cover to clean your rifle.

If you really want a good scope mount, get a Choate for the rear or the Scout mount like Satian pointed out for the front and use a long eye relief or pistol scope.
