Do you do this with your 10/22?

Sometimes, if I'm alone at the range, I'll load up my 25 round magazine and spray the whole thing at my steel swinging target from the hip.

Does anyone else do this?

not from the hip but i do pull the trigger as fast as i can....

Sorry, my eye is on the front sight or dot for every shot. That doesn't mean that I don't rapid fire, but I know where every shot will land before I pull the trigger.

Only short range firing from the hip, within 25 yards for sure and at targets close to the ground. Rapid fire from the shoulder or rest is all I ever do with my 10/22. I can't use the sights to save my life so why not eh.

man i have a hard enough time hitting small plinkers at 25 to 50 yards standing and shouldering the gun and using the scope!
i'd probably go thru 4 bc clips just to hit one plate from the hip!

I would shot a .22 anyway I see fit as it is does not have a huge kick.

Its been know to happen from time to time. Bump shooting is fun to try.

I would never attempt to rapid-fire my 10/22's from the hip. There's not enough recoil to bump-fire them...

I would if I could get those friggen 25 rounders to work. I can't get more than one round to chamber in a row (ie: bolt action with jamming!)

Get Butler Creek STEEL lips mags. They work. Anybody that would get a mag with plastic lips, is asking for trouble!

The funny thing... one of them IS a steel lips, and it's just as craptacular in my gun as the hotlips. Poo, the whole lot of them!

I'm gonna try to flog them on the EE for cheap. The BC loader too... doesn't work that well on the 10 rounders, and I'm faster with my thumb anyway!
