Do you find yourself buying shorter and shorter barrels for .22LR? What's your favourite barrel length?

Id have a TC contender Super 14.

Used to lust for a TC Carbine... until I realized they were in the 7-8lbs range.
- A Stevens bicycle rifle is under 3lbs with a scope.

16 inches on a 22 for maximum powder burn

You don't get maximum velocity from 16 inches in all cases. One particular case, perhaps.

Minimum 26 inches for me, but I only shoot smallbore 3 position when it comes to rimfires.
