A buddy of mine has been really happy with the 99gr Hammer Hunters I loaded up for his 6.5CM
They punch some impressive holes due to a unique combination of a fragmenting nose and a flat shank that penetrates and cavitates.
Fast, accurate and easy to load

I couldn’t kill an animal with a bullet that FUGLY !My friend in Sweden says these are the best. Definitely in a 6.5x55 though.

140 gr Hornady ECX shoots lights out in my 6.5(7.5 twist). not a high BC but it is on the heavy end for homogeneous bullets.
I haven't poked a critter yet though.
I've had good success with the Barnes 127gr LRX out of my creedmoor. It's a shame that I wasn't able to find the bullet because I would have loved to have seen the expansion at 500m
Awesome, I wish we could see that bullet to! Although it sounds like it did the job?I've had good success with the Barnes 127gr LRX out of my creedmoor. It's a shame that I wasn't able to find the bullet because I would have loved to have seen the expansion at 500m
I'll have to try catch one in a milk jug this year... I've tried but it still burried itself somewhere behind two jugs hahahAwesome, I wish we could see that bullet to! Although it sounds like it did the job?
Definitely sounds like a very solid "one and done" all rounder. I'd like to try it with H4350 and StaBall 6.5
