An actual store where you can call and have them actually pick up or, walk in and deal with an employee face to face is so appealing right now..
 
I got both my fixed and folder from TI too but my orders didn't have much for xtras, just one mag plus the preorder bonus mag/sling
Maybe they are getting the easy orders out first so they can figure out how many mags to send out to the ones who ordered lots as they said they are short of mags and can divide the remaining product between the guys with the big orders.

I thought each rifle came from the factory with 2 mags?
If TI strips out some of my mags to fill somebody else's order I will be pissed. And I have been nothing but patient so far.
I don't expect to get my extra mags now. But each rifle should have the two mags as advertised and expected.
 
No I am suggesting that they might be equally dividing up the extra mags purchased not the two that come with the rifle or the preorder bonus mag
That would be wrong if they did that!
 
Well I received my folder....... BENT.............. YUP you read it correct, to the right just like the others...... bent somewhere in the area where the receiver mates with the barrel. Everything else checks out though (No hand ground markings etc) Except I havent got the gas cover off yet.... it seems stuck, But i also havent really tried hard yet (let alone read the instructions lol). Overall the gun handles and points great, but I cant get past the $1000 price tag for the barbaric quality you receive with this gun. Yah yah its Norinco, but this gun easily falls beneath the Chinese M305's, SKSs, and T97's ive handled in terms of overall quality. It basically has the same look and feel of a $300 Airsoft gun. So having said that im going to contact Ti for a refund. And stick with my VZ 58 which is clearly a superior gun.

Wow, less than 60 people responded to the poll out of hundreds....Be nice to see more responses to have something a bit more representitive of actual 81 owners....
 
As of today, Dec 1 2017 there has been 66 members that have received there rifle in this poll group, out of those 66 there are 13 defective rifles.

Not many actually have there rifles yet according to this poll of course realizing not everybody who bought a Type 81 is on CGN and there is likely a quite a few on here that haven't seen this poll...

In in reality I wonder how many have actually returned there defective rifles ?

I wonder how many they actually pack up per day?
If they did them all in a month that's about 33 per day, if somebody was boxing up on weekends. So it would allow 4 rifles per hour in an 8 hour day.
This is if there is only one person boxing the rifles.
But it's been a month and here we are.
 
Just got my tracking! Should have it early next week. This was a late order. One of the last probably. The one email I sent inquiring about my order was answered after a few days. I was told it would go out this week.
