Do you hunt?

I been a duck and upland bird hunter for the last 35 years and I have been shooting the clay target sports;skeet, trap and sporting clays for the last 15 years. Any shooting with a shotgun is fun for me! :D

I'm a hunter who shoots. I got involved with trap shooting last year when 2 of my boys got hired to work practice and events for the local trap club.

I found out it's "buckets O fun" and my shooting is getting alot better.

I also don't hunt, but I did this about 6 years ago & actually this was part of a provincial govt cull on ducks that I was a part of. We also tested for lead.

hunter!!

i do a little trap shooting once in a while, mainly hunt geese over fields.

i built a couple of coffin blinds this year and usually have 2 out of 3 youngsters with me.i put them and the lab in the coffin blind and it works awesome.my youngest daughter is 3 1/2 and she loves it.my son is a fanatic(5 1/2),walks around the house 24/7 blowing on his duck call.drives the wife crazy!!i'm trying to talk him into entering into the calling contest at the spring sportsman show in Toronto.he's better than alot of adults i know that hunt ducks.

Where do you fit in in? Are you a shooter who hunts, a hunter that shoots or a shooter who isn't interested in hunting?

I'm a shooter who isn't interested in hunting.
Killing Bambi at 100yds. with a scope just seems too easy.

Seems there are people reading and not much posting / discussion going on, so I thought I'd bump some of the original threads to see if the boards have changed over the last 10 years.

As a city slicker hunting is an extremely rare treat. I'm a shooter. I'd choose hunting over targets any day. I'd choose targets over anything else any day. Ok, maybe not heli skiing but you know what I mean....

I am a hunter and a clays shooter. I am not as much into waterfowl, but my favorite type of hunting is pheasant or Hungarian partridges over a pointer.

Black powder Trap, informal sporting clays type targets, one trip to a really good sporting clays layout once a year due to the kindness of friends, Sharptails and Hungarian Partridge, and a few attempts at decoying Ducks and Geese each Autumn,
I also hunt Deer with a muzzle loading rifle.

I am a hunter!!!!! I will end up being that crazy grandmother that her kids are always wondering what kind of trouble I am up to !! Most likely to die of a hunting at age of 90 something :)

Hunter that likes to shoot once in a while. I do however have a hard time pulling the trigger on an animal that doesn't put food on my table.

Hunter and shooter since the day I started in the 60's. Getting a couple britts 14 years ago totally change how I look at hunting and nothing is like upland with a dog
Cheers

I've never understood how "bird hunters" refine their skills without spending sometime shooting clays.
