Do you lube with neck sizer die ?

I use dry graphite.

I have an old pill container with a few ounces of #7½ shot in it, and a teaspoon of
powdered graphite.

Dip the neck of the case in it, roll the case and neck size it.
Every once in a while, put the lid on the container and give it a shake. Replenish graphite as needed.

Regards, Dave.

no, lee collet die. no need to lube.
Example, bolt 308 ammo, if brass has not fallen on the ground, just use it like that, no tumble. If you want it with more spark, tumble a bit in corncob.

Then reload with lee collet die, super fast, no lube, no clean, no trim, ready to load.

Anneal every 5 firings or more if you feel like it. Doesn't take very long. I use a drill with a long socket over propane torch, 7-8 seconds per 308 case.

I use the Redding Type S Match Neck die and removed the expander ball. The bushing is the titanium coated bushing that doesn't require lube so no. I do use Imperial Sizing wax, very sparingly when using the body die to bump the shoulder back after 4-5 firings.

I just spray a touch of WD-40 on my clean brass, roll them around in a bucket, and it works great. So easy and clean. Size them, lay them out on a towel, and wipe off the excess. If there is a particular reason I shouldn't be doing them this way... please tell!

Do you tumble or clean that off your cases before reloading? Petroleum based lubes tend to degrade powders/primers.
