Hey all
I recently bought a Sig Sauer P226 classic and looking at it, it looks to be be slightly oiled and that is it. I once had a Browning Hi-Power 15 years ago and it was full of thick grease. It was so bad I had to get someone to clean it. Do new guns come ready to go now and if so how can you tell?
The oil appears to be a milky like substance and mostly around firing parts and hammer.
