Do you pick up your empties? (Shells that is)

I pick up everything accept rimfire. I feel bad sometimes for not picking up my .22 casings but I often can't tell mine from the others already on the ground.

I like to leave the place as it was when I arrived. So, yes I pick them all up and as others noted, pick up other people's trash as well.

I always pick mine up. I keep mine for reloading, if I can find them. I make an effort if there is snow on the ground, but sometimes when you cycle the bolt in a hurry to chamber another round, you dont know where the brass went flying too.

As this is in Hunting, yes, I make a conscious effort, when in the field, to pick up my centerfire empties.

I usually pick up my shells for reloading purposes... even though I dont reload yet!

At a range I pick up my brass except for rimfire. When hunting, I pick up my brass if I can find it. Since most of my deer fall to single round hits, that is not too difficult.

I don't shoot much shotgun, but I do pick up my hulls when I am out "blasting away". I don't hunt with a shotgun, so I have no hulls to pickup in that instance.

For each animal I've killed, I like to display the case made up in a dummy round, with the mount or picture of the critter.

Always pic up mine unless for some reason I can't find it. When in the field it is common for me to pack out other peoples garbage as well.

i try to pick up all my casings for a few reasons #1 is if out hunting why tip someone else off.# 2 since we started to reload less money spent. as far as garbage when i smoked i would bring out my butts in a bag then tossed into the outdoor firepit.always have a garbage bag at the stand for water bottles or juice packs or pop cans that gets brought back at the end of the hunt

In the bush I pick them up if I can find them...I am mor einterested in watchign where the animal goes than keeping track of brass, though.

Whether at the range or in the woods I try to follow the motto "Leave the place cleaner than when you arrived." I may not find all of my brass if I've been shooting in a rough area, but it's simply amazing the number of middle of nowhere "pristine" places that you can find a beer in.

I always leave all my empties around...who cares there is lot's bush and swamp and the shells are so small! I've even seen some mall animals making homes in 12Ga shells.
Just kidding...yeah I pick up all of my empties.

I worry about it more if i'm target shooting and there's a 'pile' of rounds - if i'm hunting, sure i'll pick 'em up, but if i can't see it i'm not going to spend an hour looking. For targets tho - it's nice to leave the woods the same way you found it (albeit with a few more holes )

If I can find them, I'll pick them up. Brass sometimes gets lost in the snow, and shotshells get lost in the long grass. I don't reload, but I hope to someday. Shotshells are cheap but all that plastic is a waste to leave in the field.

My 22 semi throws brass into the next county, good luck finding those. Shotshells and centerfire brass, I pick up any that I can find, including other peoples. When field hunting geese I also pick up my wads when I find them.
