Do you recommend gloves?

If you're using gloves because it's hurting your hand otherwise, know that the glove will eventually wear out at that point and you'll have to replace it. Cheaper to use your skin, 'cause it grows back for free!

Gloves and a lot of other not fire-arm specific accessories can be bought cheaply from AirSoft sites, especially in China. You can probably get some wicked cool skeleton hand gloves or something like that, if it's what turns you on.

I'd rather dehorn the gun and make it more user friendly than use gloves unless it's a cold or rough environment or shooting hand cannons.

the same goes for all my tools too, anything that has a burr or a sharp edge that irritates or cuts you whenever you use it gets deburred. I can't stand anything that gives you blisters and cuts when you use it.....bad design

most guns could use at least some kind of deburring or dehorning, I especially hate sharp serrated triggers

Gloves are fine. Special Forces operators wear gloves quite often. So do SWAT and Police teams. Nothing wrong with wearing gloves at all.

Anyone who calls "wuss" on glove wearers need to have their head examined.

I find some guns uncomfortable to wear gloves with while shooting, especially ones with small trigger guards.

Rarely. If it's cold and wet, and I'm going to be out there for a long time, maybe.

15 years of working with my hands...they're tougher than most gloves anyway.

I don't see any reason to object to people wearing gloves as obviously not everybody has thick, calloused skin on their hands. A simple pair of gloves is not crazy to wear if you have soft hands.

I do find it silly if I see off-duty accountants wearing full-on carbon fiber knuckled Oakleys in some tactical shade of brown or whatever, though.
