Do you respect your firearms gentlemen ?

Do you respect your firearms gentlemen ? Or your self ? Or another s ?
Almost , think of that - ALMOST every used handguns I'm buying is DIRTY and needs good care .( I'm not talking about CGN only of course ).Maybe my request is too high , but it is hand guns not a used condo..s .
I would feel a shame if somebody can say - this guy send me a 'dirty ' handgun.
Am I wrong ?

I personally feel that any used gun i sell should be clean, but I would feel ashamed if i started a thread like this. Whining does not clean your gun.

There is no complaints department here. Only you and the seller. Be a man - face the seller directly and tell him what the problem is.

Maybe it's best if you buy new guns only?

Started feeling guilty as I had not cleaned my new SIG since a range trip on Thursday. Clean and shiny now!!:)

It does amaze me how many EE sellers post pictures of dirty guns expecting them to sell quickly though!

I don't clean in between range trips although I do always wipe down and lube. I've found excessively clean bores don't give me the best groups compared to a moderately fouled barrel.

There is a difference between not cleaning your firearm regularly and not cleaning it before selling it. It's like leaving your house with mud on the floor and moustache trimmings in the sink after you sell it.

I've been pretty satisfied so far with used guns I've bought. They have always at least been acceptably clean. I take pride in cleaning something before I sell it, I think they buyer will appreciate it, but nothing TOO excessive.
