When I get a new( for me) rifle the first thing I do ,when I get home ,is take it apart to see it's condition and how it's made .I'm sure I'm not the only one who does this. The reason I bring this up is that the other day , a friend at our gun club ,bought a M1 cabine , and was trying it out for the first time and was having trouble with cases not ejecting, they stuck in the chamber . Anyways the next day he took it to a gunsmith who took it apart and told him the bad news ....the chamber has a hole drilled in it from one side to the next
That's not good and now the fun begins
....return to seller..registration..etc
I think it worth the time and effort to check a newly purchased guns...before you shoot them
