Doe down

Well, the gun season is over for another year, but unlike last year, at least we saw one this year and she is just about ready for the freezer. After a few days of 6 guys seeing nothing, as usual we switched around stands and I was lucky enough to be in a friend's stand when this nice doe was pushed through by my son and that particular friend. I was out by myself on Saturday and Sunday hunting a different area and could have taken any one, or all, of 3 nice does that I still hunted - problem is, the only "doe" tag that our group of 6 had was already attached to the doe in the pic.
Oh well, we did have a lot of fun, did manage to get at least one, the bow season is not over for another month and a half (almost), and there are bucks around the second property, so we are not finished yet

OK, what the heck am I doing. I got a pic in another thread, but can't seem to get on into this. Frustrating as hell - going to drive me nuts (short drive).

Never mind - I figured it out, all I have to do is pay a little more attention to what I'm typing,

Glad you had a good time. Nice to have some meat for the freezer, but if it was ALL about the meat, would make for a lousy season sometimes...
