Does a Mossberg 930 5 shot tube fit on a 4+1 turkey 930.

Hi Guys,

I have two questions. First, can we buy and are the 5 shot tubes for mossberg's 930 legal in Canada as seen here: https://www.mossberg.com/store/930-935-magazine-tube-5861bl.html ?

Second, can they be installed on a 4+1 turkey 930 as seen here: https://www.mossberg.com/product/930-turkey-85222/. Thanks for the answers, I am really interested in the 930 turkey but before buying would like to know if I can get at least get 5+1 capacity. Thanks,

On the danger close side of getting into a legal argument... I thought the magazine tube was based off of the chamber size

I.e you cant have a magazine that will fit 5.9 of 3.5" shells if your chamber size is 3".

If it is a magazine tube restriction, why dosent every 2 3/4" or 3" semi auto have a 5.9 of 3.5" tube on it?
 
Yes it will fit.
No its not legal. In canada
We make 1 2 3 shot mag tubes.
2 shot is the max 5.9rds of 3 inch
Anything longer you will have to block.
Or you will get charged on making a prohib firearm
 
Magazine extensions are widely available for the Mossberg 930.

Mechanically speaking; You can extend that mag-tube to any length you want to, very easily.

Legally speaking; You'll need to plug it to the legal maximum of 5.9 rounds of 3" shells for range use.
Or plug it to only hold 2 rounds for actual turkey hunting.
