Hey guys

I’m wondering if anybody has the quick load software and could give me a hand?

I am wondering appx how much trail boss powder would I need to get a 140gr projectile to go 1100 FPS out of a 6.5 rem mag with a 18 1/2 inch barrel?

Thanks!

Why are you inputting a 22" barrel?

For anyone that is interested in internal ballistics software I use GRT. Gordon's Reloading Tool. It's free and the german developer is using Patreon to fund it so his plan is that there will always be a freeware version.

Currently his powder models are mostly Euro and South African and Aussie powders. I use a lot of Vihtavouri which is very well modelled. Some of the Hodgdon powders as well as Alliant are starting to be represented.

I just used GRT to model a load for one of my 375's. Because the 300 gr. bullets are pricey I depend on this software to shorten the load development process. Today the load came in at 2426 fps and the GRT model predicted 2431 fps. Not bad. Groups were .77 Moa (3 shot groups so cheating a bit).
