Is Canada officially completely out of powder? Any ideas where somebody could get a lb of anything sensible? (4350, 4895, Varget etc.) :HR:
 
People always hate on the local gun shows, but I manage to find a sealed pound of Varget for 20 bucks.

Cabelas should have some, the new store in Barrie does/did.

There's a lot more powder available now than there was 3 months ago. Wholesale Sports last week had at least 20 different varieties in the south Edmonton store, in May they had maybe four. Similar story at P&D.
 
I was at a gun store in Lloydminster, AB yesterday and they had IMR4350 for $47.99, that is a new all time high for powder pricing from what I have seen. I guess that is why they have it in stock.
 
We had group order from Higginson arrived here, the middle of last week.
There was Varget, H4350, H1000, Benchmark and IMR8208, in it.

You've got to strike while iron is hot, hoping to find a pound here or there ain't gonna happen.
 
Sorry to post twice...

I can guarantee if anyone works their way through that list there are very few (if any) Hodgdon/IMR/Winchester powders that they won't be able to find.

Additionally, IME (YMMV) there's more powder at the distributors in the last 2-3 months than there has been in quite some time. The Americans are starting to hold stock on popular calibres, I'd imagine we will see powders hit our retailers soon if things are slowing down in the US.

....I've even found some powders on sale... It's all about where you look.
