Does Anyone Know How To Stain Brass?

Reloaders pick up their brass at the range, but it can be quite difficult during an IPSC match.

I ahve tied marking my brass with a permanent marker, but it still smudges off or disappears in the fouling of a spent cartridge.

Is there an easy way do drop brass in some kind of a parkerizing bath to make your nrass stand out?

Birchwood Casey makes Brass Black, and it works.
