Does anyone know when the BC Limited Entry Hunting results will be available?

This is the same question that is asked every year.
There is no reason for the delay once the results have been collected by the deadline .
Especially since it is now online application.
It only took the Previous Governments handlers 15 years to get the results out in just a few weeks.
New Government new priorities.
Good Luck.

there were a number of fire ravaged areas where the results were to be determined (TBD) and that may cause some delay.

Otherwise . . . don't hold your breath waiting!

The end date was also extended so that should be factored in.

most of the hunters I know offline didn't bother with Limitted Entry this year. It's pretty obvious looking at the availlable tags this year and the proposed changes elsewhere in the reg season that this government has taken away from resident hunters to appease the guide industry's loss of grizzly hunting.
managing to "net zero" , I used to think that was paranoid thinking but I have seen the light.
This will probably be the last season I enter the LEH draw.

The Crusty Clark government gave away mass amounts of tags to the guide outfitters. Other than the grizz hunt, not sure what else the current government messed with. More and more you need native permission to hunt their "traditional territory".
I guess if you have enough money you can hunt anything anywhere in Canada through an outfitter but if I need native permission I guess I don't need the governments permission.
If I can pay off a native to take a moose then I don't need a leh I guess. Only one group can be in charge of it.

Yes, after everyone put in leh, they decided to void all the applications for the fire effected areas, no refund, no chance to apply elsewhere, just a blatant cash grab

Cash Grab from the NDP - say it ain't so....... they might call it "hunter money redistribution".

careful now , let's keep things respectfull. There are many aboriginal members of this site , myself being one of them.
I hunt and fish on the outskirts of a couple reserves in BC and have never been harassed for money to hunt. The only time I was asked if I had local band permission to hunt/fish was by an RCMP officer on the canim/hendrix heading home with a buck in the truck bed. I wasn't too impressed at his pointless and meaningless question as "none" of us BC hunters need Canim band permission to be hunting out that way LOL

last year hunting moose solo on my LEH in 6-9...... nearish the day lakes complex , 2 young fellas from one of the burns lake area bands stopped cutting firewood to give me a hand loading my quarters. They offered and no payment was requested.

point is, there's a vast amount of country in this province to hunt with zero fear of being encroached on to "pay a native". I'll concede that there are areas of contention in the province and the country as a whole. However, there are areas where the guide outfitters will purposefully block access or ruin a resident hunters hunt because they "encroached" into a guides hunting area. You have to pay them to hunt there don't you know...... how much is a guided/non guided resident moose hunt these days LOL
you'll find that if you do have to "pay a native" before accessing some areas of the province, my guess is it will be farrrrr cheaper than a resident moose hunt thru an outfitter or guide LOL

cheers and happy hunting to "all" this season, enjoy it while we still have it.

I dunno where that is exactly ...... but there's thousands of acres of crown land that burnt last year and the Morels are popping like crazy. I have been picking 6 to 10 hours a day at least 3 to 4 days a week right now. Took today off but at 6.00 a pound ..... having good days at 50 to 75 pounds of mushrooms per day is padding my "fix the truck and buy a new rifle fund" nicely :D
