Would a SBI LPC or MRA Renegade with a collapsing stock and shorter barrel meet the requirement? Or does the 7.62x39 mmround require too much strength to extract in the straight pull configuration, as I've heard extraction can be an issue at times?
My wife just got her PAL and wants to go for whitetail with me next year. I've set on the caliber I want 7.62x39 because in todays ammo shortages you can still find plentiful ammo for her to practice with.
I was just at my local bass pro today and the ammo selection is pretty much none existent here.
She is petite and my rifles are much to big for her.
Is there any company that makes a youth stocked 7.62x39 rifle?
I've been thinking maybe the MRX Bison if they ever actually get released.
Thanks in advance.
I have an older 527. Unless the cant of the stock has changed it is designed for irons and low, the stock is slight but cut for a full-size individual. Decreasing LOP is one thing but women in general require a higher cheek piece. Nothing that can’t be resolved but she may find the pistol grip placement is off when the LOP is decreased
For a normal sized or slightly long LOP the 527 is a great rifle for use with iron sights. I have a skinner peep on mine and would not scope it if you paid me
Cut a 527, that's what wood stocks are for
