Does anyone make something to drop 870 stock lower?

Hello everyone! Im 6'5" and I find the stock of my 870 express sits to high, what I mean is the bottom point of the recoil pad sits ontop of my shoulder. Is there a company that makes spacers to drop it down?

You can buy a Morgan recoil pad, they have an adjustable butt plate attached...

You should definitely go out to the big trap club in Hamilton and ask some of the better shooters for advice on stock fit and shooting form, before doing anything else. You could also talk to the guys at Al Simmons gunshop. If your description is correct, and you are shouldering the gun correctly, and the stock is long enough, you will need a drop at the heel of something like 4"; that is huge. A Morgan pad will add maybe only an inch and a half drop. I suspect you need a longer stock, try adding an inch of wood between the stock and the butt pad and see if that helps.

I'm also of the same height and "did" shoot an express 870 actaully a couple ,never seemed to be a problem ,but you can get the stocks cranked up so cranking them down should not be a problem,but going to a club and talking to the members is always a trip worth taking ,my .02
