hi guys i am looking at a new wildey and was wanting some feed back on them from anyone who owns one or has had experiance with one ....pros,cons...,ect... how did they shoot????????
thanks wild game processing...:)

A friend of mine had one in .475 Wildey. I thought it was a POS. The machining was terrible as was the trigger. He had to make his own brass. Bullets were very expensive. Dies were around $300. He only put about 20 rounds through it total. Not enough to get the gas system adjusted properly. I fired three rounds and was very under impressed. It sat in his safe for years until he was finally able to unload it.

If I were going to spend that kind of money I would get one of the new big calibre revolvers.

I owned a Wildey in .45 Mag.

I've also owned a number of other "big bore" guns, and can honestly say that the Wildey is substandard on many levels. From workmanship, to assembly to finish to function.

I spent so much time trying to get the gun to cycle properly, I ended-up trading it in for parts I needed to complete one of my AR projects.
If you want a big bore gun, get a Ruger or a Desert Eagle. Don't waste your money on a Wildey.
