A while back, a member on the red rifle forum started fabbing sheet metal to make an sks look like an stg44. Does anyone remember the thread I'm referring to? My search-fu is failing me

Cool project, but it may be unnecessary if those repo Stg44's in the States make it up here.... (although there stupid expensive)

Absolutely right. It is cool, but unnecessary. It was just something I thought of the other day
