I was reading about shooting practice rifle grenades and it looked like a lot of fun. I searched the forums but can’t find much information on doing it, short of it seems legal.

Does anyone on here shoot practice rifle grenades? Where does one find the dummy projectiles and blank ammo.

I was searching for some of those also but no luck, as far as I know, you need the grenade launching model! A Yugo 59/66, somebody correct me if I am wrong. I have one but decided not to shoot it, still in cosmo, brand new!
Also a couple guys on here say there is a method to doing the launch and it would be prudent to study up on it before trying grenade launching!

I have the grenade and the Yugo. Just no rounds/blanks. I am also in the same boat my Yugo is brand new never fired. I think I like it better than my 2 M model SKS's very well made SKS!

Finding the blanks will be an issue. Can't say as I've ever seen 7.62 x 39 training blanks. Haven't looked either.
Fired rifle grenades(the M29 and M31 seen here. Add the W's. .inert-ord.net/usa03a/usarg/rg/index.html) from my M1 Rifle using regular training blanks(.30-06 training blanks were far easier to come by 35 years ago. Grenade cartridges were collector things even then and would send the inert grenade a long way being much more powerful than a training blank.). Never the W.W. II/Korea M9 or M11 though.
You still need to know what is 'down range'. A training blank sends 'em about 100 yards or less and the fins break off or bend really easily. Certainly is great fun.

I have seen information on other boards and websites but I wanted to talk to someone on here who might have actually done it. From my understanding the 22mm practice grande that is used with the sks can also be shot by AR and other rifles.

I haven't been able to find the practice projectiles or the blank ammunition. I read on one form guys taking the bullet out of live rounds and sealing the ends with wax to make blank rounds for projectiles. Other guys saying you can make dummy projectiles out of thin wall aluminum pipe. I want to find some information from someone who has actually done it before though.

Never done it myself, but saw a few SKS granade launches. It was long time ago, but I'm pretty sure it was regular Russian SKS and they used blank round to launch it. Not very spectacular though.
