Does anyone sort their bulk .22lr ammo?

Yep...I sort mine...I shoot a semi so it's lead forward, brass to the right and if you didn't like that one there's another coming right shortly!!!

I sort them into groups of 10 or 25.
Eyesight's not what it was, but I still hit what I'm shooting at, fairly rapidly. Go rimfire
Surprised there is such a mass variation in the CCI tho...

For what it's worth, I went through the 100 round box of CCI SV. Range was 51.3-50.8

Never sorted it... One time I puoured it on the floor and made a 22 snow angel

For what it's worth, the CCI SV brass weighs between 9.6gr to 10gr. I took a small sample of brass that originally weighed 51.2gr. Assuming the bullet is 40gr as advertised and the brass weighs 9.8gr, there would be about 1.4gr left for powder and primer.
