Does Arisaka T99 Rods Work on T38?

Hello I'm hoping if those who own the pieces can tell me if an Arisaka T99 cleaning rod will fit in a T38 rifle? And I do not need "I think it will/won't work" answers, I need to hear from those who own these items and actually tried it, thank you.

It won't fit. The rods are separate and there are 4 different lengths and diameters. Make sure you get the right one.
