Does caspian slide uses 9mm extractor for 45 too?

Hey guys, not sure if i should post it here, if not, please redirect.
I'm trying to build a 1911(45cal ) upper with Caspian slide. Knows it only takes 9mm/38sp firing pin, but how about extractor? I tried norinco and wilson combat extractors, they dont fit(larger diameter),
does it means it also need to use 9mm extractor for the 45cal?

if your trying to turn a 9mm slide into a 45, your not going to make it work easily. The breach face is a different width, and the extractor is in the wrong location. you can ussually get a 40 slide to work with 9mm, (not always the other way) but i BELIEVE (not 100 sure) that you have to have a dedicated 45 slide for 45

This is a strange issue. I'll be honest; I haven't used a lot of Caspian stuff so I've never compared their extractors to anyone else's, but I've also never heard of them being sized differently.

I'd call Caspian and ask them directly.

Take an EMPTY .45ACP case and try ti fit it against the breech block where a case
would normally sit. If it fits then I would say that you have a 45 slide.

The cylindrical end of a 9mm/40 extractor is the same as a 45 at around 0.270"

Most caspian dimensions are at the small end so they can be fitted. Just dress down the OD of the extractor.
