Does ITAR regulate 80% lower receivers?

Those polymer lowers look interesting. Maybe a cheap way to practice before getting aluminum.

Thanks for all the info guys, by the way does anyone know of a site sponsor selling stripped lowers for sub $100? Part of the reason for getting a cheap 80% was to finish it and register it should the libs decide to 12.x them.

is one of the better 80% Lowers made in the USA although there are many , Machinegun guy has a enhanced mill spec that are really nice too , if your going to put the effort and tooling into building a aluminum 80% I would go with the very best after all there are lots of cheap mil spec 100% lowers on the market .
My friends in California have built some extremely nice customs Ar-15 rifles from 80% Lowers .

Yep...no export fee, just order and it shows up. Mine arrived with no issues.

The web site does not even allow you to enter a Canadian address will not calculate shipping on a Canadian postal code , I am pretty sure you guys ordered from there Canadian distributor was 80%lower.ca or something like that they are no longer selling product were based in Alberta and exclusively sold polymer 80 products .

I am not skilled enough with tools to complete a 80% lower some guys locally who I know who work in CNC are planning to start to make them in Alberta , they told me how difficult it was to obtain them in Canada and saw it as a opportunity to use there Skills , I have seen many of the cheapest and the very best products they have been collecting them for research .
I am not certain of the longevity of the venture given the political reality , but there should be a very nice Canadian made 80% soon I am told they will have a maple leaf engraved on them and a engraving plate .

Bushy. I'll ask you this.
Why do you think none of us that are well established in the gun biz have not. Jumped on the idea of making 80% lowers.

I hope that they are licenced for exporting, and have all their "i"s dotted and "t"s crossed. If they are, the documentation will have arrived along with the package. If not, and if they are just putting the things in a box and mailing them, announcing that they are exporting on a public forum may well get them jammed up. The good folks who monitor this forum do share information.
