Pretty much what the title reads. Picking up my Chilean M98 Mauser tomorrow, and I'm looking around for a video to help me out with breaking it down, and all I can find are K98 videos. I know the K98 is a German action, but is it the same and/or similar to the M98, or is it a different animal altogether?

The Chilean M98 (1912 Steyr) is a standard length Mauser 98 action, same as on a K98 or Kar98.

You need to be careful with the Yugos, they are slightly shorter than the standard length 98 action.

They are listed as M24 or M24/47. Their bolts are shorter the action screws are closer together and the magwell/trigger guard are also different.
