Does Nobody Want Keltec RFB's Anymore??????

Not super accurate. Not great magazine availability.

I think people were expecting a 1 MOA gun and were dissapointed when they didn't get that. Some of the early versions also had complaints about their gas systems.

I dunno. I'm still tempted. They are incredibly tiny rifles.

Me personally, I just think all their other lower end stuff is just way too cheaply made with all that plastic. The folding designs I would break for sure, and the KSG feels like I am gonna break it when I rack the slide.

The RFB is definitely better made, and you can feel it when you hold it, so I really can't say it is crap, but I'd be scared to drop it, or put it through any harsh use.

I'm no plastic hater, and it has it's place, but in the Keltec products it doesn't boast confidence IMHO.

Tempting......

I have no actual use for it.

But it would be fun too have.

But , yes. Why no mags anywhere for it? Must be millions of FAL mags around. And not those rip off $50 ones either

I have both RFB & KSG.....neither is a range gun...hunting, hunting, hunting; go in the bush with either one and you'll quickly see the merit in both; after a day out you can break it down and have it cleaned in five min. The plastic won't break, don't worry.

Thanks for adding something of value to this thread. It never ceases to amaze me, the way people will trash something they've never even held. Wait a sec, let me delete some of my posts...

I loved my RFB while I had it, never had a single issue. I only sold it because I do not hunt and I tend to do the majority of my shooting off a bipod so I replaced it with a XCR-M, just suited me better. I would buy another in a second if I could find a DS model, I would love to have the tan to match my KSG.

I certainly want one and as NR its practical for taking outdoors, hunting, quadding, etc. But at the $2400 price tag, the bang-for-buck simply does not add up for me. Kel-tec is slow with production and the demand has artificially inflated the price. I may still buy one, but that price hurts for what you're gettting....

An older gent at Silverdale had one out and shooting last few times i was there....Easy 1MOA at 100 yards with off the shelf ammo. Gun felt very sturdy.....i liked it, but i'm a lefty so Bullpups kinda suck for me and i'm a cheap bastard....lol.

Of all the Keltec stuff thats probably the only firearm i'd actually want to own...maybe the SU-16 right after that.

Not super accurate.
That is an understatement if I've ever heard one.

I have no problem getting 2 MOA with Silvertips.

2 moa you say? With what and how far? Three rounds at 100yards? Have you shot it further than that, say 300m or more?

Some of the early versions also had complaints about their gas systems

...and other stuff...like poor reliability and constant ftf and fte (although some of this could be attributed to mags, but I doubt all 12 in the case I witnessed).
I have shot one, and was not impressed. Once you get beyond the size (the only admirable thing it has going for it, aside from taking FN mags) you realize it is: (@ +$2500) considerably more money, less accurate and less reliable than a box-stock $400 Norinco M305.

I'm all for cool new guns, and whatever floats your boat, etc. but the RFB is a doggy. Buyer beware IMHO.

^^^ that is pure BS right there ^^^

I own RFB and KSG, both are excellent guns, both keepers..
Great for hunting, fun for the range.. No disappointments of any kind.. Also never had any FTF or FTE

I call BS on this statement as well . I own one and love it. Not one single issue with several thousand rounds through it. Very accurate out to 300 yards and beyond.
My RFB is the last gun I would ever consider selling.
It doesn't sound like you know what you're talking about.IMHO

^ what he said....
RFB - Accurate, yes, went to 200 at Silverdale, no prob....want better buy a $3k+ target rifle and add scope....target not for me, but that's just me. Also forward eject works for lefties.
KSG - No jams, no weird stuff, eats all shells.... accurate, I don't know, but skeet shooting was fun, 24/25....birds never got away either.
Both are fun to shoot, bottom line.
If you want one, get one, if you don't want one don't bash it
