Does this look like corrosive ammo?

So my story is... Ive owned an CZ858 for about 5-6 months now , i purchased it from CanAm with 1200 rounds of norinco NON CORROSIVE which i ended up going through the case. no rust. So Canam ran out of ammo and i ended purchasing a case from another supplier who advertised as non corrosive and after ONE week this what happened.

wow you will learn a thing about that clean your gun every time after you shoot ! , do a big cleaning and wash with some good stuff to eliminate rust and you are ok i think !

So i can go with shooting 1200 rounds and have no rust and not clean my gun once. Then shoot 100 rounds of a different ammo and have rust one week later.I dont think cleaning the issue here. BTW i inspect my guns daily/weekly.
 
Can you post a pic of the ammo? How about the box or crate it came in?

Looks to me like the ammo you bought was NOT non-corrosive...

What's the headstamp? 31 over 72?

Looks like the stuff imported by Lever that has been misrepresented all over the country.

You are correct Stevo, that is EXACTLY what that is.

Corrosive ammo being sold as NON-corrosive...

Shoot gun , clean gun, repeat as necessary. 1200 rounds without a cleaning is braver than I could ever be lol , yes it looks like you got corrosive ammo. I treat all(*edit* surplus) 7.62X39 the same and have had no problems so far, knock on wood .
 
Looks like corrosive .Good ammo but you must clean after every time you use it in your gun. Use hot water to flush out the salts then clean and oil all should be good untill you want to use the gun again.
 
So, a company can advertise this and get away it. If i wanted corrosive i would've BOUGHT corrosive. Is there any repercussions? I also dont want anybody to get suckered out there money. I will be contacting this supplier on monday. I just have a feeling its a lost battle.

Has anybody returned it? i have a feeling that it was put on sale to move because of this.

And YES i think there should be a sticky about ammo . I have been tricked and i would like to make sure nobody else is.
