Does this look like the real thing? Mosin sniper

Local CT got some Mosin sniper-ish rifles in. They ask $750 for them. There is no way I would spend $750 for that, as I already got a regular nice looking 91-30 from them for $199.

Interesting -It sounds like each outlet that handles firearms are permitted to set their own prices. local CTs in this neck of the woods had a couple of the 'hunting rifle' imports on for $650 and regular 91/30s for $169 within the last month. As an aside they had plenty of 7.62X39 for $219 a crate. I have not been in recently so I don't know if they have anything left right now.

Correct. Firearms at CT are at the discretion of the owner. They run that section independently, set their own stock and pricing, and in my experience do not price match.

At Yellowknife's CT, the crate of 7.62 x 39 goes for $259. Sks regular for $199 and up (timbersmith stocked and thumbhole stocked are more expensive). Regular 91-30 is $199. PU-like Mosins $750. 400 rounds of 7.62.54R is $199. The good thing is that the manager helped me pick the SKS and Mosin I prefered by allowing me to open the boxes and choose the nicest ones for me. That was good service.

Yep I agree on that CT prices independently at each location, the one in bridgewater Nova Scotia is charging 449.99 for a regular mosin 91/30 I pointed out to the hunting shop manager at all other locations they vary from 169.99 to 199.99 and he said tough luck I charge 449.99 and walked away.
