After shooting an Anshutz riffle years back,I will never be able to shoot rim fire without comparing it to that day.And still have an overwelming desire to acquire an Anshutz.
If you like 22's try one,you will be hooked for life.

My first, and favorite .22lr is an Anschutz 1451. You'll know I've hit hard times if I EVER list it in the EE. In fact, you'll also know I'm getting out of shooting altogether, as it'll be the last gun I ever sell.

I like weird actions and rimfire is a way to get them without breaking the bank. I have a CZ452 but also have a 9422, Henry Golden Boy, a BSA Martini action target rifle from the early 30s and a Stevens Favorite falling block 22lr on its way to me. I shoot them all and really enjoy them. Have a CZ 22 centrefire too and its all love. I like weird cals too but thats another forum...
