Dog containment systems.

Before I trusted the fence with my dogs, I took a hit from it just to see what it was like. Not particularly pleasant. When I mentioned to my wife that I had tried it, she suggested that she would like to test it as well. I kept a straight face and watched her.

Did you ever laugh so hard and so long that you started to feel faint for lack of inhaling?

That would also be a great way to restrict yappy gunnutz members some times. :D Of course i won`t mention any names as that might get me an infraction.;) I am looking at building a smaller enclosed fence for when i`m away, i`m still finding new things out about this guy. I took him for a drive to the middle of a 1/4 section and let him out. He freaked out and tried to crawl under the truck, he was terrified. Sure tries to take over the house though. He is going to take a lot of work cause somebody worked him over some where along the line.

We have the undergound wire and collars thing at my house. I buried enough wire to give my dogs about an acre around the house to stay in. Worked awesome.

Tip if burying wire. I struggled for my first couple of hundred meters, getting through tree roots, and rocks and other garbage, using a shovel and a hoe and a pick. I got pissed off and grabbed an old chain saw and used it to cut a groove about three inches deep for almost an acre (right through anything I came across), in the same time as I did the first 200 meters with hand tools, with much less effort. Cost me one old chain that was almost worthless anyway, and no damage to the saw. I'd strongly reccomend this method if buring wire.
