I would recommend the Tritronics collars. The new G2 and G3 generation of collars are nice, light, waterproof, and you can add more dogs to the system later if you get multiple dogs.
There's lots of good advice here. Using an Electronic collar is not a cure for bad behaviour. It is best to train your dog early and train them well. Obedience training can't start too early with positive feedback and encouragement.
I did use my e collar to force fetch train one of my 3 pointing dogs who is older, stubborn and was poorly trained early in life. It has worked with her very well but it can be overdone. I've got 2 other dogs that I would never use the collar on to shock as they are far too sensitive.
One feature I do like about one of my collars is the ability to make the collar beep without giving the dog a shock. I trained my dogs to come when they hear the tone and it was very usefull for the times when my dog is far away, in thick cover or upwind and a whistle or vocal command is not heard. It's also usefull when my dog encounters and starts chasing big game. A light zap will usually bring them back to reality and get them listening to commands. Sometimes instinct is tough to overcome.
Dogs can also become collar wise and may behave differently when wearing one. Let your dog wear the collar during fun times when it wont need to be used and it wil be more effective when it's needed later.
If you dog is this young and it's one of the first dogs you've trained, I'd recommend spending the money on obedience classes, socialization / puppy kindergarden and time with your dog. It's likely money better spent at that age.
