Dogs of Vietnam

As a Lab owner for more than30 years and 4of them each lived to a good13 to 15 years with one now getting a little gray in the muzzle,I found this a very good but sad storey. My current lab is a black female called "Sally" who keeps all things in order at our farm,loves the grandkids to pieces,guards the sheep,horses, and house . I truly miss all other ones ,BOBO, RADAR,and GUS ................. JIm
 
i only get about 10 years out of my shepards- then for some reason they fall apart, for various reasons- so i've resigned my self to that FACT= my first girl had disc disease - she had a runny nose, cracked skull, and her teeth were going bad- i got her at 4, had her 7 years- then the disc thing got so bad i had to carry her home- 100 pounds of dog on your back for about 2 miles- my second, a male , took a stroke at 9 years- he had just had his physical and the vet said he'd last another 5- now i'm on my third, but he might last longer- he's a cross
