Doing my first "build"

Well NEAs response to parkerizing in the chamber was "just go shoot it". After thr gunsmith worked on it I put a few mags through it with no issues so far. Still a little disappointed it took a gunsmith (and more $$$) to fix a brand new barrel.

You could have just come to us and we would have sent you a new one. You didnt have to send it to a gunsmith. You didnt say anything to us until after we came across your thread in an area we're never in...

in fact I believe that I said if there was a problem that you could send us your rifle and barrel and we'd inspect and install eveything in the shop. If it needed a new barrel we would swap it and make sure eveything was good to go.

All of this was after the fact, and after we found you... Coming to us from day one would have had this all solved by now. Why you thought you had a big enough problem that you had to send a 10/22 to a smith rather than calling us is beyond me though.

We would have been more than happy to swap and install a new barrl at no charge.

Just to clarify I did send you a pm first (read my earlier post before you posted). I had already paid for the install so the price to ship everything or pay for another install didn't make sense. Plus after dropping a fair amount of money on a brand new build the last thing I want to do is send it away so I can't use it.

Also, the gunsmith said it absolutely was not reemed out, and the advice of "go shoot it and see what happens" isn't the best idea when it comes to firearms. Especially when you havent seen the issue.

I did say that you offered to for me to return it but it was less of a hassle just to pay a few bucks. I'm happy with how the barrel is shooting though and have a fake can coming for it.
