Dom for fn 1910 for 12(7)

I am trying to figure out if a pistol would be eligible for a 12 (7) but I can't find anything online about date of manufacture. It is an Fn 1910 in 32 acp it has the I believe it called sand scarif writing. It is a 5 number series number 853xx. My next question is how to the RCMP verify it's date of manufacture? Any info would be greatly appreciated

Quick Google search for FN Browning 1910 serial numbers revealed a number of links with similar questions posed.

Quick info I gleaned was likely your pistol was made around 1920. 5 digit serial # was fairly early in production.

So, should certainly qualify for 12(7).
