I picked up 2 full boxes at a gun show, was just going to shoot them but I am curious as to thoughts on keeping them as part of my ammo collection rather than shooting.

They are the yellow boxes with black, so 50s? All the headstamps are "Dominion".

Thanks

Pretty much what I was thinking, 100rds for $60, probably the best deal I have found at a gun show in a very long time, ha ha ha.

So one box is older, stamped DC Co, so no newer than 1947, the other is Dominion, so 1948-1966, I assume this does not matter much for value.

If you are an ammo collector , then keep it . 60 bucks is really nothing , and you may want some older ammo for future trades . As we all know , once it has been fired , there is no turning back at that point .

people always say shoot it but I love old stuff, if it lasted this long it would be cool to see it last another 75 years. I have some black powder loaded 303 British ammo that I was also told to shoot.

keep the older box shoot the newer stuff.
