I was surfing around on the site again and noticed you put the Dominion Arms 16 Gauge shotgun (single shot, break action, 30 inch barrel) on for only $99! I can't resist a deal like that, but the reason I don't shoot my 16 gauge I already have is no one where I live carries 16 gauge shells. If you can bring in some, I can promise you a sale :D

What d'ya think? Any 16 gauge shotgun shells available?

Anyone Have A Picture Of This 99 Dollar Beauty?
 
Canadian Tire is the only place I find the shells often. They only ever have Federal #6 though. I lucked out in the summer and found a few places out East that had some.
 
I just received my 16 gauge a few days ago . Very happy with the fit and finish.The ammo was at the local Canadian Tire [ Ormocto N.B. ] and Fredericton Gun Shop at $14.00 a box.Gonna get another one as the girlfriend thinks it is hers. MEH!

And neither Canadian Tire within an hour of me sells 16 gauge... maybe if it's in their warehouse they'd order me some you think?

the finishes on the wood didnt match so I redid it



I cant say how it shoots, I found a problem with the barrel after I had started refinishing the wood so I'm hoping I can get a replacement barrel and try it out. any other questions about the gun don't hesitate to ask.

Geez, sure does look good. So long as the fit is nice and I can track down somewhere reliable to find 16 gauge ammo I think I might pick one up. Thanks for posting the pics

your welcome, ammo seems to be pretty easy to find around here, even Canadian Tire stocks it, which kind of surprised me.
 
That's crazy. At least they were quick to fix it. It would have been nice if CanAm could have posted some pics or emailed some as requested. I am not sure why they don't even have a pic of the gun on their website. I ordered one nevertheless. Where else can you get a new shotgun for $99? Thanks for posting that pic, it's my first look at the gun.
 
the ammo costs more.........

imo id go 12G and save money in the long run.


lots of old iver johnsons 16g single shots for $50 out there too
 
It's always good to have a gun kicking around that you don't give a crap about. The one you can leave at the cottage or rolling around behind the seats of your truck...etc. Ammo isn't crazy expensive but not much in the way of selection. If you aren't going to be using it much who cares?

Exactly what I'm thinking. I got ANOTHER truck, so logically I need ANOTHER truck-gun :p
