Dominion Arms 1897 trench shotgun!!

the norinco 1897 has been out for many years. That burgess looks like project for one of the Italian firms that specialize in such things

Ok. :)

I was thinking of Dominion Arms because of the 1887 shotgun. Theirs was not too bad although the wood had a matt finish. I was very happy I bought
one while they were in stock.

The 1887 was done by a non chinese company as well with better finish and corespondingly higher price. Never seeon one for aale up here.

I believe that Uberti makes the Burgess rifle in 44-40 or 45LC already so here is hoping that the shotgun also gets its turn. Really
interesting action as well as the folding feature of course. 6 shots.

Now another shotgun reproduction that would be really great would be a Burgess Shotgun

Although a bit complex if Dominion pulled off the 1887 Winchester, a Burgess should be possible :)

So many neat things about these......a holster for when folded would be a great accessory.....

I want to see a video of someone breaking it down with a full magazine charged. :)

Ha! I laugh in the face of this thread!

Honestly though, you guys gotta get one, they're just a barrel of fun....

Mine even came complete with a 1913 dated bayonet someone re-blued and an old surplus US sling.

Wait so is this actually being made, or is it just all of us hyped over nothing? So far I've seen no definitive reply to this thread that states it's actually being made, or even being proposed to Dominion Arms?

It's been made in the past and marketed by Marstar. They haven't been around for a couple of years but the tooling exists. The thing is from an idea to an order to a finished product, you may be looking at a couple of years

Thank you dogzilla, I guess having the existing tooling may shorten the time somewhat... or not.

Sorry for the quality.....a little slam fire ####
I love it so much that I'd be in for a M97 replica to add to the collection...

CanAm, already saw that awesome "Yes" and was wondering if there is any further news?
Parkerized, blued, slam fire, bayonet mount with heat shield, plane jane 1897, take down?
