well, i planned on testing for grouping's with different buckshots and slugs today, but experienced an issue.

on the very first shot, the foreend fell off, and it did so the next 5 rounds as well.

i held it tight at the lever, and never felt it lift, so it must be from the recoil.

anybody else experience this?

i will be contacting canam first thing monday about this

just goes to show, looks can be decieving.

wow, thought about buying one as a camp/bear country gun, but my heart told me not to trust my life with chinese stuff...bought a rem870 instead.

Forends do not fall off due to recoil. There is a problem with the gun.

Yeah......had the same thing happen to my Norinco 1911; caught the whole thing on video too:D

But seriously hope you get things worked out!

It's not just you buddy - mine did/does that as well and I'm looking for solutions. Somebody suggested a fix using metal from a beer can - not sure exactly what he meant. Not confidence-inspiring when it falls apart in your hands :(

Big deal, forends are just cosmetic, real men don't need em.

true, except it stops the barrel from falling out when its attached:p

i dropped the barrel in the snow twice, before i finally started to hold it while i was ejesting the spent shell.

btw, duct tape stands out too much, i was thinking of using a couple passes of electrical tape, to make it look like a barrel band:D
