Well I finally got one today after wanting one for years when CanAm first brought them in.
My questions are:
Who else has one? And do you like it?
How long did the break in period take before it functioned reliably?
From all the info I was able to gather these shotguns seem like a real hit or miss, Some people say complete lemons and I've read someone on here had put 16000 rounds through his.
They don't come up for sale to often which leads me to believe the owners here who purchased them must still like them?
I haven't fired this one yet, It was still BNIB and never seen a round, Picked it up from an awesome fellow CGN'er
I ripped it apart tonight and cleaned it very thoroughly and steel wool'd some parts to make them extra smooth, The finish and quality seem very good for a Chinese shotgun the only piece I can find tooling marks on is the charging handle.
I bought this black stock years ago when I had initially planned to buy a cougar and never did, It actually took a little modifying to fit as the DA has a different style gas seal ring than the 1100. But I think I got it looking fairly nice, Next up is a tube extension to allow it to hold 5 3" shells, it only hold 4, 2 3/4 in the tube the way it sits now and a barrel clamp with sling swivel.
anyways looking for any input at all if you have some experience with them!
