Dominion Arms DA50 BMG Assembly

I've seen scope bite from a 50BMG before. Never a good thing. The guy got hit near his right eyebrow. I was able to provide first aid bandages to him in the form of toilet paper. I felt bad for him, but still hard not to laugh with the TP hanging off his eyebrow. I offered to do an in the field stitch for him, even with lightening bolts but that offer was turned down for some reason. My suggestion of using crazy glue wasn't taken up either for some reason.

If I may suggest, just ensure your rings are high enough. One of the most common causes are rings that are just a bit too low. People end up doing the looking over your eye glasses thing which loses you an inch or so in eye relief as your eyebrow and forehead are now much more forward. Other causes are of course, not enough eye relief, bad shooting form, a stock that's too long or too short, etc etc.

Pics, or it didnt happen!

Took it out to the range today! No black eyes, nothing broke, had a great time shooting down cinder block wall at 200 yards. Video to follow soon! The only problem I had was the ammo getting stuck in the chamber. Had to use a hammer to get the bolt back.
