Dominion Arms DA50? You need to see this!

Wow, I'm blown away by all the great feedback! All the nice comments are what makes me want to keep putting out more videos!

As for working for Canada Ammo, they are such a great company, and I'm just a huge fan of them and the DA line of firearms. I've always pushed them just from a genuine love of their company and products. (Although I'm never opposed to free swag! Lol).

That's actually a great price on the Hornady ammo, I want to spend some money on some decent equipment and really test the accuracy at 400 yards. This would be great match grade ammo for testing too.

I do have a RODE mice I just got for Christmas (thank you awesome wife) and its made the sound so much better, and cut down on wind noise. Added a much needed element for video quality!

And yes, I did put the bipod on backwards for the first couple shots, then quickly realized my mistake and turned it around. Even with it on the right way it was not cut out for the weight and recoil of the DA50. Heavy duty bipod is defiantly going to be a must for my accuracy video!

Proper sound definitely makes a huge difference.
My current camera does not have external mic jacks.
My next absolutely will.
I am editing a video now of some WW2 bombers at a local airport recently. The wind noise is bloody awful on the built in mic.

the rounds that had holes/cracks/poorly formed brass was limited to the ones that have green sealant on the primers. I have not seen this issue with any on the rounds with purple sealant.

If you get regular M33 ball it is not as tight in the chamber, all the xm33 is out of spec in one way or another or it would not have been rejected for military contract use.

Thanks, I did notice I had 1 round with the green sealant, was wondering what the difference was. Luckily it didn't cause any problems with the gun.
 
Really cool vid! I hope to get one and i am planning to go same route as you. Why pay 600-700$ for a nr lower wen i can only shoot a a range anyhow since i am in NB might as well go with the 150$ da since i need to strip it!

On a non restricted lower, no need for a "range" when I gots millions of acres of BC crown to shoot on ;)
Can't wait to get one of these in my collection.

Same, need to find a nice field with a backstop up some where with no pesky antis.
 
would there be any way to jerry rig a lower for this that wouldent be restricted? may be a stupid question but i have to ask

From what it sounds like, no. Atrs has an approved nr lower. I'm sure if one was to machine a lower and get it approved for nr, then have at it.
