Broken extractor on a DA Grizzly 12ga, 870 clone...870 extractor parts don't fit

Canada Ammo has been useless to deal with trying to source one. Does anyone know where I could get the parts? Extractor, plunger and spring?

Any help would be much appreciated

The risks of buying foreign. The same thing will happen to all the Turkish guns in 10 years or so. Unless you can adapt the 870 parts to fit, you're very likely out of luck.

Anytime I upgraded or replace a part on a grizzly I use a Rem factory’s part, have yet to run into your current problem. If I couldn’t find a DA part to replace the broken extractor I’d upgrade it with a whole new breach block and bolt from an 870, you’ll get the flexi tab in the upgrade as well.

If it had to happen to the turkish guns we would already know about it. They've been imported for along time.

He's likely meaning the latest run of Turkish guns like the semi-auto shotguns that have only been brought in over the past couple years. Eventually the wear and tear will catch up and who knows where parts will be.

They're made by the same manufacturers as all the other guns previously...

Turkish shotgun manufacturing is much like U.S. AR-15 manufacturing. Everyone with a garage and and a milling machine is cutting them out to the same patterns, and then various distributors are stamping whatever brand they control on them. There's zero guarantee that two different shotguns of the same brand, are being assembled from parts from the same factories.

The quality control is largely happening on the importer side. Some importers are far better at keeping an eye on things than others. The main thing is to buy from a dealer you trust, who you know will back up what they sell.

So what was the verdict? Was it a Dominion Arms Grizzly (Rebranded Norinco HP9 Chinese 870 clone) that you own or is it a Dominion Arms Kodiak (Turkish made noncompatible with 870 parts)?

Curious if OP was just confused or if he really had a Grizzly that would not take an 870 extractor?
