Dominion Arms Grizzly Shotgun - 12.5" - 12 ga w/Wood Stock and Forend

Ah so you could get a synthetic stock Grizzly... track down the 870 wood stock and swap it out eh? Seeing as how it is a 870 copy everything swaps easily?

The foreends need to be sanded out a bit with a dowel and some sandpaper because the chinese foreend assembly is a hair big.

I sure would like to know where you're seeing these "so easy to find" wood stocks. I've been casually looking for over a year for something to go on my Norinco.

Mo, I just did a quick search and there is 2 different stocks for sale on the first page of the results.
One just a butt and the other a laminated set.

Yes it's an 870 clone. Aaaaand I did see that laminate set, but it says the butt pad doesn't fit properly and the butt pad spacer is cracked. I don't really know enough about stocks to know whether a spacer is that big of a deal, but he claims its good for a "project". So I'm looking for something new hopefully but I didn't find anything promising on ebay, or anywhere else on google or CGN sponsors. I'm not looking to spend hundreds of dollars. Just something simple, functional, and made of wood.

$65US With the stock bolt from Boyds, they have other styles too,

I got a Hogue for end to fit with a lot of persuasion I wish I knew before I attempted, I used a bit of glycerin.

People do jam them on there...good luck getting it off
It doesn't take long to open up the 870 foreends so they fit with out lube!

For the price... I will melt it off by pumping endless amounts of ammo through it, it would actually be cool if in the fall the legislation change will allow a pixtol grip the synthetic Chinese stock has been off gassing for a while and weighs a lot.

I did the same thing with a magpul foreend. I used a hammer to get it on - went in nice and dry <grin>. When I was done, I thought, well that's never coming off.
Oh well - at least I like it!

Has Canadaammo said approximately when they expect the next shipment of 12.5" grizzlys in? I know they said fall, just wondering if they've narrowed it down a bit.

I've got wood ;) Managed to find some brand new Remington wood, slid on the the fore-end of my Norinco HP9 with just a little bit of twisting. Now all I need is to strip the metal and blue it and I will be happy with it.

I posted a WTB in the EE late in the afternoon a number of months back, and when I checked in the evening, I had a 10 offers in my inbox, and I got to be picky about what I wanted and how much I paid.

The wood is off an early 80's security express that someone tacti-cooled. I cleaned it up, sanded it a bit to smooth it out (it was kinda beat up from riding around in a Brinks truck or some such), and then refinished it with Tung Oil. I've also since swapped out the front bead for an XS Sights Big Dot Tritium, which fixed the POA/POI issues, and HEY! it freakin glows in the dark!

The leather (lace-on, bandoleer, sling) all came from a Ukrainian dealer. He has since "gone dark" on eBay, so one can only hope that he's Ok, just having trouble shipping things, given the current climate in the Ukraine. All in for the leather was about $60-$70, IIRC.

Thanks guys, but you both missed the post just above where I showed off my new wood. And I did get it from dlask. But it wasn't in stock when I had posted that.
