Dominion Arms Outlaw Double Barrel Shotgun

Howdy!
I have no opinion, only experience to share...
Well, yeah I do have an opinion haha!
I have the Dominion arms Short double SxS...
Especially for the price, it's cool & intimidating...
BUT my brother has the same gun & after maybe
10 shots 2 3/4", the rightside barrel split about 6" spraying
Shotshell guts all over & thankfully not blinding him.
Mine has been fine using the same ammo...
However the fun is a bit gone.
Not saying they are all bad...
No the barrel was not plugged, no he wasn't putting
3" slugs through it, just old lead birdshot we can't hunt with
anymore.
A great first gun you will own forever is a pump
12 g, I suggest Mossberg. For a basic one, it's not
that much more cash. Save the Domnion SxS for a novelty.
Get a Mossberg pump for hunting, protection, practice, &
Be confident it'll work!
The Rem 870 is fine, although it does have a latch preventing
the slide from returning ...hard to explain, but when anticipating
Recoil, any rearward pressure on slide will prevent gun from cycling.
The Winchesters would be already half racked for the next shot,
But they seem to have waned in popularity.
The Mossberg 500 / 590 are great choices. Pistol griPs
look cool, but for your first gun get a shoulder stock, even
shotguns need to be aimed!
Sorry to drone on...good luck & happy shooting!
PS only FYI if you want a Dominion 12g SxS you go right ahead...
I only wanted to share my experience.

China is getting a bad wrap these days in pretty much everything that's being made there. But big name companies have a lot invested so you'd think they would have setup some kind of quality control. Nikon Cameras has their DSLRs made all over SEA. Vietnam, Malaysia...etc. My Nikon D300 was made in Thailand. I doubt you would have problems with firearms made in China. They just haven't had enough time to establish themselves. Back in the day anything made in Japan and Korea got a bad rep too. Look how quickly Hyundai turned things around.

Back to double-barrel shotguns...Doesn't seem to be many manufacturers making them any more. Recommendations?
