Dominion Arms Outlaw Hammer doesn't strike firing pin

The hammers on the Outlaws have springs that prevent them to touch the firings pins when they are not cocked. Its a safety feature to prevent accidental discharge,like if the shotgun is dropped on the ground.

You can test it at home either a dime.hold it up drop a dime down the barrel. Pull the hammer back and fire it well keeping it pointed at the sky.the dime will dance
